Flying South for the Summer

The last weekend in June we headed South for a little Pediatric Conference/Family Fun. Yep, we went allllll the way to South Dakota. The boys were pretty hilarious. They seemed to think that South Dakota was a completely different country with a completely different climate even though we were only 3.5 hours from home. They informed me that it was definitely warmer in South Dakota than in North Dakota. Also, on the drive down we discovered that Tobias is definitely out of the "cute and quiet in the car" phase and into the "talks incessantly in the car" phase. Three and half hours of, "Look! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Look! Cows!" There were a lot of cows.
We did finally arrive at our hotel in the great state of South Dakota and by some miracle got all of our little wiggly people to sleep. Of course, they still woke up at 5 AM. Maybe the sun rises earlier in the South.
